There are two types of people in this world: those who love change and those who can't stand it. But when the two groups meet... someone ends up dead! "Even in your average Catholic parish?" you may ask... Especially, in your average Catholic parish!
"Death of a Liturgist" is based on the book by Lorraine V. Murray and adapted to the stage by Andrew Thuringer, Diocese of Sioux Falls.

The monks at Saint Hippolytus Abbey have been distilling their “elixir of happiness” since they settled in America hundreds of years ago. But with the onset of Prohibition, the civil authorities will stop at nothing to purify the country from the evils of alcohol. What will this band of brothers do to maintain their “pious” way of life?

Something's rotten in the state of Denmark. Prince Hamlet has returned to mourn the untimely death of his father, only to discover his mother has already wed the new king, Hamlet's uncle Claudius. Drowning in grief and betrayal, the young prince receives a chilling omen-his father's ghost has been seen haunting the battlements of the castle. SPS Theatre proudly presents Shakespeare's classic tale of fate, insanity and revenge: Hamlet, Prince of Denmark.
