synopsis

Something's rotten in the state of Denmark. Prince Hamlet has returned to mourn the untimely death of his father, only to discover his mother has already wed the new king, Hamlet's uncle Claudius. Drowning in grief and betrayal, the young prince receives a chilling omen-his father's ghost has been seen haunting the battlements of the castle. SPS Theatre proudly presents Shakespeare's classic tale of fate, insanity and revenge: Hamlet, Prince of Denmark.

This play contains mature themes and some violence. Parental discretion is advised.
